May meeting location change.
Due to weather we have change the location of the May meeting of the St. Joseph Water Garden Society meeting. New location is in the basement of Parkway Christian Fellowship. Please use lower level south entrance.
February meeting canceled.
We are going to cancel the February meeting due to very cold weather and icy conditions.
September 2019 Meeting
We want to thank Doug and Cindy Brownfield for hosting our meeting. Rain gave way to a lovely evening.
William Gibson from Green Thumb Gardens in Kansas City shared the benefits of native plants as a more natural option in landscaping and design.
May 2019 Meeting
The regular monthly meeting was held at Thompson’s Garden Center in Savannah. Our host Joy provided us with many interesting facts about new plants and flowers. She provided each attendee with a hibiscus plant.
April 2019 Meeting
The St Joseph Area Water Garden Society’s April meeting was held at Prairie Flowers in King City, MO, where they were introduced to several new varieties of flowers and plants for the season.
March 2019 Meeting
The St Joseph Area Water Garden Society’s March meeting began with a presentation by Kevin Kirby from the American Red Cross. The program included information regarding pond safety, response to emergencies, and CPR training.
The April meeting will be held at Prairie Flowers in King City at 3904 State Route P. The meeting time will be at 6:00PM and the new flowers for 2019 will be the focus. Anyone interested is invited to attend.


February 2019 Meeting
The February meeting of the Saint Joseph Water Garden Society was held on February 14 at Parkway Christian Fellowship. Ponds are currently being added to this year’s annual pond tour, which will be held on June 22 and 23.

Various resources were shared, such as the Kansas City Water Garden Society’s pond tour, the International Water Garden Society website, and the Water’s Edge spring programs. Since the February meeting was held on Valentine’s Day, the club had a fun-filled evening playing a Valentine’s Trivia and then enjoying sweet treats.
May 10th SJWGS Meeting
We had good attendance at the May meetting of the St. Joseph Water Garden Society. We want to thank Kaw Valley for the presentation on some of the new plants available this year.
